When I go, how much ammunition
will I need?
 | For the Four Day Defensive Handgun
Course, Front Sight recommends bringing 800 rounds
of factory full metal jacket ammunition. Some
airlines might impose limits on ammunition in
checked baggage. If so, there is a Bass Pro Shop
where ammunition can be purchased as you leave the
Las Vegas airport toward Pahrump. |
How physically fit do I have to
be for the course?
| Suffice to say the class I attended had all
ages and shapes in attendance – from a 20-something
highway patrolman to a gent in his 70s taking the
course with his son as a “bucket list” goal. Nothing
in the class requires extraordinary physical effort. |
Do I have to be an experienced
shooter to take the class?
| Absolutely not. We even had people who had
not fired a handgun before in our class. Front Sight
instructors are quite happy to let you learn at your
own pace. For example, if you want to shoot the
entire course on static targets instead of turning
targets, they readily offer that option. |
What about other promotional

| The school has a number of interesting
