"Deer Smugglers" Trying to Give Bill "Bums Rush" to avoid YOUR INPUT!

Deer farming measure stripped from SB 513 by House, but politicians are now trying to screw you!

Section 14 of Senate Bill 513, the "Deer Smuggler Protection Act," will endanger North Carolina's deer hunting tradition to benefit a few wealthy land owners. As you may recall, not only could importing deer for “canned” hunting spread Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) to our indigenous deer population, potentially decimating the herd and our hunting traditions, but GRNC also obtained evidence that some or all of the players, possibly including Agriculture Commissioner STEVE TROXLER, know that deer are already being smuggled into the Cherokee Whitetail Hunting Preserve in western NC without permits in violation of the federal Lacey Act.

SENATE AND HOUSE LEADERS THINK THEY CAN SCREW YOU!

In perhaps the greatest screwjob dealt to gun owners and hunters, leadership of both the NC House and Senate have given the bums rush to the language on deer farming removed by the House. That's right: They have avoided your input by doing a midnight deal to give big money to STEVE TROXLER, Former CEO TOM E. SMITH and the wealthy deer farmers at the expense of hunters and deer farmers.

You have one chance left: KILL SB 513. IMMEDIATELY EMAIL ALL MEMBERS OF THE NC HOUSE AND SENATE AND TELL THEM TO KILL THE BILL NOW!

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!

DELIVER THIS MESSAGE

Suggested Subject: "KILL SB 513"

Members of the North Carolina House and Senate:

The House wisely stripped the deer farming provision from Section 14 of Senate Bill 513. Unfortunately, the “deer smugglers” – some or all of whom may have known deer were being illegally smuggled into North Carolina in violation of the federal Lacey Act – have snuck language back into it.

Enough is enough. It is time to KILL SB 513 once and for all.

Any vote for SB 513 is a vote against NC hunters and gun owners and will be recorded as such.

Any vote for SB 513 WILL COST YOU come election time.

Kill the bill NOW!

Respectfully,
