Pro-Gun Bills Move Forward

SB 928, Castle Doctrine, passed its third reading in the NC Senate. Although still a worthy bill, it had been changed to only provide protections inside the home. It will now head to the NC House where GRNC will attempt to expand it beyond the home. HB 1132, Renew CHP/30 Days, which will require a sheriff to renew CHPs within 30 days, passed second and third readings in the NC House and now heads to the NC Senate. Thanks to your emails and calls, these bills are now moving forward. You must keep the pressure on to make sure they make it through the final steps.
