THE GRASS ROOTS GROUND SWELL FOR LIBERTY

TI

An amazing movement is growing before our very eyes, almost overnight thousands and now millions of people are rising up to speak with one voice: Stop trying to take away our unalienable human rights.

This isn’t just about scary looking black guns or standard capacity magazines. What began with the left going after guns has morphed into full-fledged attacks against freedom itself.  The liberty grabbers have shown they no use for the bill of rights, beginning with the 2nd but also going after free-speech, privacy, due process and the presumption of innocence.

The left has always had a Top-down control fetish and your liberty is their first target. They have bloated national organizations, funded by a couple of large – and secret donations. Demanding limits on your freedom from their ivory tower.

Billionaires like Michael Bloomberg consider average Americans to be the great unwashed, who shouldn’t have a gun in a crowded place. But don’t worry, he promised that “Nobody’s trying to take away anybody’s handguns ... or rifles or shotguns,”

Compare their national control schemes with our grass roots organizations at the local level with the people who are demanding the conservation of our rights. What begin elsewhere and blossomed in the Old Dominion is now racing through our state.

This is a perfect opportunity to tell people who we are and what we stand for.
So far there have been several counties that have passed these resolutions:
  • Cherokee County
  • Rutherford County
  • Surry County
  • Lincoln County
  • Wilkes County
  • Rowan County
With others meeting to consider these resolutions:
  • Stokes County, Monday January 13th
  • Davidson County, Tuesday January 14th

Suggested Subject: "Resolution affirming our unalienable human rights"

Dear :

I am writing today to affirm your resolution that affirms our unalienable and constitutional human rights.   Rights that are under attack at all levels of government everywhere in our great nation.

I stand with you in taking this step in the face of national groups and parties that want to impose their control of our liberty and our individual rights.

Thank you for taking this stand in the defense of liberty.

Respectfully,
