Senate Republicans seem just a bit too cautious on gun rights. . . <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n


Republicans in the NC Senate are very gingerly evaluating the Omnibus Gun Bill, which recently passed the NC\u00a0House (Constitutional Carry and more).
<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n

It seems they are trying to do the right thing, and it’s much better than several other options, but we should probably expect a little more eagerness from Republicans on Second Amendment rights. This situation needs to be watched closely, as caution can quickly turn into stalling, and worse.

Clearly Republicans in the NC\u00a0Senate need to hear from gun owners so they don’t forget why we worked so hard to pass this bill in the House. They need to know that we’ll work just as hard to get it through the Senate, and there will be political consequences for Senators who stand by and do nothing as the bill fades (should that occur).\u00a0
