You may remember two weeks ago Lee County Commissioners, after listening to no less than fourteen passionate and articulate Patriots, wisely voted to repeal ALL carry restrictions in parks and county facilities. However, the vote was 4-3 and thus requires a 2nd Vote on Monday October 6th.<\/p>\n

A similar proposal to eliminate all restrictions is now being considered by Rockingham County commissioners on the same night.  However, even though Rockingham County has a majority of Republicans on their Commission, at least one, enough to kill the proposal, appears to be lukewarm to the idea at best  Once again, your emails encouraging the Commissioners to \u201cstiffen their spines\u201d and do the right thing will be necessary.<\/p>\n

This measure to rescind carry bans will be voted on during the next meeting to be held Monday, October 6th, at 6:00 PM in both Counties.<\/p>\n
