GRNC has learned that an important gun rights bill, H562<\/a>, is in grave danger of being watered down during Representative N. Leo Daughtry\u2019s <\/strong>committee meeting, early on Tuesday morning (04-28-15)<\/strong><\/span>. (You can read more about H562 below). <\/p>\n

Once again, it appears that some Republicans may have forgotten who gave them the supermajority they currently enjoy. Of course, it\u2019s pro-Second Amendment voters like you who put them where they are, and you did it for a reason. Unfortunately, politicians often have short memories, and it looks like they need another reminder of who sent them to Raleigh. <\/p>\n

H 562<\/strong><\/em><\/a>: \u201cAmend Firearms Laws.\u201d<\/strong> This comprehensive bill would further open up the state fair to concealed handgun permit-holders, remove restrictions from educational properties, permit guns in locked vehicles at places of employment, remove CLEO discretion in signing BATFE paperwork for Title II firearms, authorize hunting with short-barreled rifles, and more.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
