Virginia Democrats seized control and now are proposing “ammunition free” zones in HB318. Approximately 94% of mass public shootings are conducted in “gun free” zones by the insane. Now the insanity of politicians is reaching to higher levels never seen before. Once again the law abiding are being turned into criminals.
The list of anti-freedom legislation being proposed continues to grow at an alarming rate. They feel empowered to “do something” that history has shown us, doesn’t work.

Look at California, the most restrictive firearm state in the union. They have gun confiscation laws, universal background checks, gun registration requirements and ammunition control. Do any of these infringements work? According to the Associated Press (AP), California experienced the most “mass slayings” of any state in 2019.

Virginia residents know that these infringements don’t work. Over 90% of the counties have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries. It is a very important symbolic movement that tells Richmond to stay out of their lives.

The movement is even crossing borders here at home. Several North Carolina Counties have passed similar Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions, and the list continues to grow. North Carolina isn’t at the “Virginia” level of attacks (yet) but it’s only an election away as Virginia has discovered.

If you believe in your civil liberties and the Second Amendment, protect North Carolina by supporting gun rights in a neighboring state. Attend the Lobby Day Rally Monday, January 20th, 2020 in Richmond VA. We must show solidarity with our neighbors to the North. Below, find more information about the Lobby Day Rally, including possible transportation arrangements.

Why should you care?

North Carolina residents travel to the Commonwealth daily and the current reciprocal agreement between our states could be jeopardized. We need to stand with our neighbors and show the Virginia legislators that their proposed infringements will have consequences. Show up and send a message that these infringements won’t be tolerated. The entire country is watching this potential powder keg. Don’t be a spectator, be a part of history
