In his usual litany of lies, Joe Biden made it crystal clear this week that there is no gun Democrats will not try to ban when he claimed there is “no rational basis” for Americans to own “high powered” 9mm handguns – the most common defensive handgun caliber in the world. And lest you assume that the nonsense he spouted was just Joe being dementia-ridden Joe, consider that he had to have heard it from somewhere, probably the leftists in the background pulling Biden’s strings.
The agenda has nothing to do with keeping children safe…
Biden, Schumer, and Pelosi don’t care that nothing they have proposed would have prevented the Uvalde killings; they don’t care that arming selected, volunteer teachers and faculty members would be the most effective deterrent to school killings.
Why? Because leftists don’t care about the safety of children. As former congressman, Chicago Mayor and Clinton staffer Rahm Emanuel phrased it, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
Democrats are dancing in the blood of children to pass a pre-ordained gun ban agenda that has nothing to do with children’s safety and everything to do with disarming YOU in their quest for absolute power.
In fact, that is what led leftist Gov. Roy Cooper to brand Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson’s recent remarks on the intent of the Framers in drafting the Second Amendment as “dangerous” – dangerous to tyrants like Cooper, that is.
Act now to stop Democrat exploitation
Leftist House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler (D-NY) has called committee lawmakers back from a break to mark up gun legislation that combines eight separate bills. The committee meeting is scheduled for TOMORROW (June 2), so YOU MUST ACT IMMEDIATELY.
What House Democrats intend to do:
- Ban standard capacity magazines of 10 rounds or more
- Raise the age for buying or transferring semi-auto rifles and shotguns to 21
- Make all privately made firearms illegal
- Require you to lock up defensive firearms, rendering them unavailable to protect your family
- Codify the bump stock ban
Are Senate Republicans about to “compromise?”
As noted in previous GRNC alerts, Senate Minority Leader (and noted RINO) Mitch McConnell has authorized Republicans to engage in “bipartisan” negotiations for a “compromise” on gun control. As you know all too well, “compromise,” as your opposition defines it, is a process under which you might lose less than under their original proposal, but YOU STILL LOSE.
Moreover, our own Sen. Thom Tillis is central to those negotiations, so you need to IMMEDIATELY CALL SEN. THOM TILLIS and tell him you will not tolerate him selling you out.

Suggested Subject: "NO to Exploiting Tragedy"
Dear Congressman (or Senator):
Once again, Democrats are cynically exploiting the death of children to pass their pre-ordained political agenda to incrementally end the private ownership of firearms.
Nothing being proposed would have saved the children of Uvalde or the shoppers in Buffalo. But, of course, Democrats know that. Instead, gun control proposals are just another exercise in a cynical tactic once described by Rahm Emanuel, who said: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
Worse, Democrats are deliberately rejecting measures that would actually save children such increasing school security, requiring armed School Resource officers and arming trained, volunteer school faculty members using the model of the Department of Homeland Security’s “Federal Flight Deck Officer” program which resulted from the 2002 “Arming Pilots Against Terrorism Act.”
I will accept no new gun control, including that being proposed in the wake of recent killings, and I will work to defeat any legislator who votes for such gun control. I will be monitoring your actions through Grass Roots North Carolina legislative alerts.
