GRNC Alert 10/26/21: No to unconstitutional gun confiscation orders

Anti-liberty leftists really hate the fact that you have guns and it is driving them insane. 

They used to lie and pretend that their ultimate goal was grabbing your guns.

They used to lie and pretend that they only wanted ‘common sense’ gun safety (cue somber violin music) 

Those days are gone, no one falling for the stepping stones to gun confiscation, so they taking the direct route to grabbing your guns.

First, it was unconstitutional gun confiscation orders in the authorization for the 2022 NDAA, then in the VAWA or the Violence Against Women Act (H.R. 1620).

Now gun confiscation out in the open with H.R. 2377 The deceptively entitled: Federal Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2021. 

Now, isn’t that special?

Can you just feel the deep concern of the far-left?

They want to ‘protect’ us from ‘extreme risk’…  by having a SWAT team break down your front door and take your guns at 4:00 AM..

Instead of working within the founding documents, these gun-grabbing geniuses are falling back on the unconstitutionally pronouncing guilt, imposing draconian punishments, and seizing private property, all without due process in a one-sided action. 

This unconstitutional abomination is going to be heard tomorrow, Oct 27 in the Judiciary committee.

Dear Representative: 

I’ve been informed that a Bill that will initiate unconstitutional gun confiscation orders will come before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, October 27.

The fact that the authoritarian left has to hide the true nature of this kind of legislation indicates why anyone on the right side of history should oppose this unconstitutional abomination. Needless to say, I oppose these kinds of laws that are destructive towards our common sense civil rights.

It is unconscionable that the House Judiciary Committee is again considering these measures. If and when this comes before you, I urge you to VOTE NO on this radical bill that would threaten both our Second Amendment and Fifth Amendment rights.

Unconstitutional gun confiscation orders would grant SWAT teams the authority to show up at innocent citizens’ doorsteps to confiscate their firearms  –  without any due process  –  all because a disgruntled relative reported them as a threat. The country is being torn apart by the divisive politics of the anti-liberty left, and this would only make the situation far worse.  

Unconstitutional gun confiscation orders have already led to the tragic death of Gary Willis, an African-American gentleman in Maryland. Mr. Willis was killed after he refused to comply with authorities who had showed up on his doorstep at 5:17 a.m. to confiscate his firearms.  Such preventable tragedies will be repeated across the country if these unconstitutional abominations are implemented. 

You will vote NO on these measures if you ever expect to receive any support from the pro-freedom community. I will be monitoring your actions through Grass Roots North Carolina legislative alerts.
