Suggested Subject: Time to get rid of Jim Crow Era PPP and restore our Common-Sense Civil Rights
Dear Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans:
Isn’t it time to get rid of the Jim Crow-era Pistol Purchase Permits that do nothing for safety and duplicate efforts?
Don’t you think it’s time to restore the people’s common sense civil rights when they happen to worship in a church that is also a school at other times? The News & Observer made an obvious point in asking:
How do church congregations protect themselves without guns?
Because a good guy or gal with a gun is the only way to stop someone with evil intent. Silly rules or signs don’t work, so it’s time for you to support the repeal of the Jim Crow era Pistol Purchase Permit SB 40 and protect Religious Meeting Places SB 41, and override Governor Cooper’s vetoes of these common-sense measures
I will be following this matter through GRNC Alerts.
