Guns & candidates together on April 9
Rep. Ted Budd, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, Rep. Dan Bishop and
others join GRNC for “Ring Steel for Liberty” on April 9
[Raleigh] To raise money for its PAC, Grass Roots North Carolina will host a steel plate handgun match and BBQ on April 9 at Hyatt Farms Shooting Complex in Polkton, NC. Approximately 200 Second Amendment supporters are expected to attend.
Pro-Second Amendment candidates slated to appear include Rep. Ted Budd, who is running for U.S. Senate; Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson; Rep. Dan Bishop; Judge Richard Dietz, who is running for N.C. Supreme Court; and Judge Michael Stading, who is running for N.C. Court of Appeals. Joining them is Erich Pratt, head of Gun Owners of America.
Said GRNC president Paul Valone:
“Featuring not only Representative Ted Budd, candidate for U.S. Senate, but also Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, Rep. Dan Bishop, GOA director Erich Pratt and several judicial candidates, GRNC’s “Ring Steel for Freedom” steel plate match and BBQ on April 9 will raise money for the GRNC Political Victory Fund to elect candidates who support the Second Amendment. This year, GRNC’s highly successful election effort will focus on judicial races which have proven critical in defending gun rights.”
