REMIND CONGRESS THAT H.R.1236
(FOR ‘RED FLAG’ LAWS) IS UNACCEPTABLE

It’s time to remind Congress that the laws for ‘red flag’ gun confiscation “swatting” are unacceptable

This Halloween we have a new horror in the neighborhood: H.R.1236

Like lumbering zombies, liberty-grabbing leftists are still at it, but they aren’t looking for brains, they want your guns.

H.R.1236 will ‘support local efforts’ for 'red flag' gun confiscation “swatting” laws.

These are an Unconstitutional Frankenstein’s-creations that violate a large swath of the Bill of Rights.

Say the wrong thing to the wrong person in an argument and they could take revenge with a ‘Red flag’ gun confiscation raid at 3:00 AM.

So much for freedom of speech and the 1st amendment.

It’s a sure bet that having your guns confiscated will infringe on your 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms.

That search and seizure in the middle of the night will also be a violation of your 4th amendment rights ‘to be secure’ in your property and effects.

When your guns are carted off after that raid, you will have certainly been deprived of your liberty, property, or maybe even your life, WITHOUT DUE PROCESS OF LAW, violating your 5th amendment rights.

That ‘ex parte’ court proceeding that initiated this unconstitutional abomination will have violated your 6th amendment rights in confronting witnesses against you and the assistance of counsel.

These laws have been used in Florida over 2,500 times since they were enacted – 5 times a day since it went into effect. They have been used at least once a day in New Jersey since taking effect 2 weeks ago.

You will not only lose your guns with these unnecessary laws, but this will go on your record impacting your ability to get or hold a job as well as other consequences. Not to mention the legal fees required to have your guns returned. In short, one little 'Red Flag - ERPO’ could ruin your whole life.

This is why you need to contact the Republican congressmen in the US House of Representatives to let them know that HR 1236 Is totally unacceptable.

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!

PHONE AND EMAIL YOUR REPUBLICAN US HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE: If your House rep. is a Republican, remind them that no uncertain terms that HR 1236 (red flag) is Unacceptable. Insist that he or she oppose this bill, and by doing so, vigorously defend the Natural rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Tell him or her that nothing short of unwavering resistance to this leftist gun confiscation bill will be acceptable.

Dear Representative:

I’m writing today to voice my opposition to H. R. 1236. So-called ‘red flag’ laws are simply gun confiscation orders hiding behind the Orwellian guise, “Extreme Risk Protection Orders”. Essentially, these unconstitutional laws are designed to seize an innocent citizen's lawfully possessed firearms without proper due process. This is wholly unacceptable.

It is unacceptable that Congress would even consider this unconstitutional creations that violate a large swath of the Bill of Rights. These violations begin with a gross infringement of the 2nd (keep and bear arms), 4th (illegal seizure of effects), 5th and 6th (due process) Not to mention the chilling effect on the 1st amendment and free-speech.

As a voter and a gun owner, I expect you to oppose these unconstitutional abominations and I expect you to live up to your oath of office, the Republican Party’s platform and the Second Amendment.
