STAND WITH JENNIFER BALKCOM – NRA GUN BUS COMES TO WHITTIER MONDAY
NC-11 is a tossup, and control of the U.S. House may ride on it. Show up Monday and show her the gun vote is behind her.
Fellow gun owners,
This Monday, October 12, the NRA Gun Bus comes to Whittier, and Jennifer Balkcom, candidate for U.S. House District 11, will be there. GRNC President Paul Valone will be there too. We need you to join them.
What: NRA Gun Bus with NC-11 candidate Jennifer Balkcom When: Monday, October 12, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Where:Outpost Mountain Outfitters, 4768 US Highway 74 W, Whittier, NC 28789
Why this matters
The race for NC-11 is a genuine tossup, and with the House majority hanging on a handful of seats, this district could decide whether the next Congress protects your gun rights or puts them on the chopping block. A pro-gun House is the firewall against gun bans, magazine limits, and the next round of ATF overreach. Lose the House, and that firewall is gone.
Jennifer Balkcom has been a consistent supporter of the Second Amendment. Candidates notice who shows up for them, and so do the media and the opposition. A strong turnout of gun owners on Monday sends a clear message: in the mountains of North Carolina, the gun vote is organized, energized, and ready to win this seat.
What you can do
Come out to Outpost Mountain Outfitters any time between 10 and 2. Stop by, shake Jennifer’s hand, say hello to Paul, and let her know gun owners have her back. Bring a friend, bring your family, and forward this alert to every gun owner you know in western North Carolina.
Early voting is around the corner. Races like this are won by the people who show up, starting Monday.
See you in Whittier.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
ALERT WRITERS
We Need Alert Writers
In order to continue to offer these critical email alerts in a timely and effective fashion, GRNC needs more alert writers. If you have general writing ability, basic computer skills, a desire to defend the Bill of Rights, and a few hours a week, GRNC would love to bring you on board as an important member of our writing team. Note that a few hours a week, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more, is a small tradeoff for the immense satisfaction you’ll feel after you have direct involvement in killing anti-gun bills, expanding gun rights, and stopping short the political careers of gun-grabbing legislators.

Ronald J. Shook II
Ron is a ferocious supporter of the Second Amendment. He has twice sued Sheriff Garry McFadden on behalf of GRNC for his unconstitutional treatment of gun permitting in Mecklenburg County. Ron is a lifetime member of GRNC, and he is licensed to practice in all NC State and Federal Courts. He has helped people all over the state to restore their gun rights, and he frequently represents individuals on appeal for denial of a concealed handgun permit. Ron has proven that he is the “go-to” guy when it comes to gun rights in North Carolina. If you are looking to restore your gun rights after a felony conviction, or involuntary commitment, or you have been wrongly denied a concealed handgun permit or firearm purchase, Ron can help!
