Know Your Candidate!

As the critical 2012 election nears GRNC will be alerting you to selected pro-gun candidates running in our state.

The first such candidate is Scott Keadle who is running for the 8th North Carolina congressional district that has recently been redrawn and comprises parts or all of Anson, Cabarrus, Davidson, Hoke, Mecklenberg, Montgomery, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Rowan, Scotland, Stanly and Union Counties.

Here are some recent statements by Scott Keadle quoted in the media:

"The Second Amendment was put in place, very intentionally, to prevent tyranny."

"There is absolutely no reason why the government needs to know what kind of gun I have, or to be able to restrict what gun I have, or where I can take it to defend myself."
