JUDICIAL FAIRNESS PROJECT

Check out this new “super PAC”: www.JudicialFairnessProject.org

The Judicial Fairness Project (JFP) promotes judicial candidates whose philosophies support the “original intent” school of judicial interpretation, traditional American values, and a strong emphasis on individual liberties protected by the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights. As an independent expenditure political action committee, JFP conducts Internet communications, mailings, automated telephone calls, and radio advertisements to advocate the election of judicial candidates who will uphold the constitution as intended, as well as individual liberty. No donations, either of money or in-kind contributions, will be made to candidates, nor will activities be coordinated with candidates. Because the committee intends to make only independent expenditures, it is therefore able to raise funds in unlimited amounts. Donors’ names are not subject to disclosure.

JFP just mailed 40,000 judicial election alerts and will soon do radio spots in Raleigh and Charlotte. If you can help make the project a success, please contribute at: www.JudicialFairnessProject.org

HEADS UP FOR GRNC-PVF ALERTS

In coming days, watch for GRNC Political Victory Fund email and telephone alerts into selected races. In addition to mailing nearly 45,000 postcard election alerts, GRNC-PVF will send more than 100,000 email alerts and more than 120,000 automated telephone alerts. If you can help, please go to:

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE VOTER GUIDES AT POLLING PLACES

In an effort to get out 150,000 “Remember in November” voter guides covering all candidates for state or federal office across North Carolina, GRNC is asking you to order voter guides and to distribute them at polling places, particularly during high-traffic voting periods such as the last two days of early voting (Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1) and election day (Nov. 4). To get packets of voter guides for polling places (or for clubs, groups, friends, etc.), please send a message to DirectorOfDevelopment@GRNC.org and include your name, address and number of voter guides desired.

MORE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SEND POSTCARD ELECTION ALERTS

The GRNC Political Victory Fund sends postcard election alerts to voters in more than two dozen critical districts each election. But we need your help to do it. If you can spend a few hours from home to send alerts, please email GRNC-PVF@GRNC.org

OPEN LETTER TO REP. MICHAEL SPECIALE

Rep. Speciale is a pro-gun legislator who, unfortunately voted to permit debate on several anti-gun amendments to HB 937, not from a desire to see them pass, but from a sense of fairness, thereby lowering his GRNC evaluation from 4 stars (****) to one star (*). He recently wrote an online criticism of GRNC’s candidate evaluation process. To see GRNC Paul Valone’s carefully nuanced response, go to:
