THIS WEEK’S FINAL PUSH
|
This is a friendly reminder asking you to, just once more, this week, phone & email NC House leadership. It looks like the legislators will be ducking out later today, so. . .
TODAY IS THE LAST BIG PUSH FOR THE WEEK
DON’T LET UP NOW
Need Some Motivation?
Click here, or the image below, to see a video that strikes a chord regarding the Super Majority NC Republicans currently enjoy, thanks in large part to gun owners like you:
Video: Arkansas Times (YouTube)
Please phone House leaders
as close to 8:00 AM as possible
If you can’t call them at 8:00, please call them as soon as you can afterwards. Before lunch would be best, if possible. If you are sent to voice-mail, leave a message. Use the phone script below. Please email them as well (also below).
It remains critical that House leaders understand that gun owners will not accept failure on these bills. We are well aware that leadership has the influence and resources necessary to move these bills toward passage, and we saw evidence of that on Monday night, with HB 174.
Insist on Constitutional Carry
Insist on Campus Carry
Insist on PPP Repeal
See below for contact information and phone/email text so you can keep the pressure on.

“Failure is Not an Option: Bring Marquee Gun Bills to the Floor“
Dear Representative:
I am writing today to remind you that the clock is still ticking, and since Monday, there hasn’t been a single marquee gun bill brought to the floor for a vote.
NC gun rights voters have given your party the Super Majority for a reason. Pro-gun campaign rhetoric is all well and good, but now it’s time to live up to those promises. I insist that you follow through, not only on the smaller bills, but also, and especially, on the marquee bills listed below:
- Constitutional Carry (H69 and H201)
- Concealed carry on UNC and community college campuses by CHP-holders (H251)
- The Omnibus Firearms Bill (H345)
- Concealed Handgun Standardization Act (H438)
- Elimination of the Jim Crow-era PPP system (H201)
Respectfully,
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! |
As you know, GRNC is an all volunteer force. As such, we are looking for volunteers in a couple of areas:
- WEB DEVELOPMENT
Experience in web development to include HTML, CSS & Java Scripting. If interested, contact GRNC President using the following contact form: http://www.grnc.org/contact
- ALERT WRITING
Solid writing skills, ability to translate legal, political, technical and firearms jargon into layman’s terms and make the public care about the issue. Ability to manipulate HTML style emails on the code level is a nice to have. If interested, please contact GRNC using this e-mail address: alert@grnc.org
If you have these skills, you can help the Second Amendment fight by enhancing and expanding GRNC’s presence, ensuring our message is received broadly in these modern times.
Don’t let your talents go to waste, as you could be the difference between gun-rights advancements and gun-rights losses.
Be the person who says, “I did something!” Instead of the person who says, “I should have done something.”
