GRNC Alert 06-19-17 HB746 NEEDS TO PASS THE SENATE THIS WEEK

CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY
NEEDS TO HAPPEN THIS WEEK

For the NC Senate, it’s likely THIS WEEK OR NEVER for the advancement of gun rights. . .

As feared, it seems the NC Senate’s slower style may have caused a crisis of deadline for HB746. If the Senate does not pass HB746 THIS WEEK, there is a good chance it won’t go anywhere this year. If this bill is not passed very soon, there may not be time for a concurrence vote from the NC House. What’s worse, next year is the legislative short session, where even less is typically accomplished. So, dragging this out too long may kick this can way (way, way) down the road. It’s critical that several key senators be made aware that this will not do!

Below, see how you can easily contact the key senators, and let them know that kicking the rights of North Carolina citizens down the road is not acceptable. Tell them to get HB746 to the floor of the Senate, pass it without changes, and get it to the governor’s desk—as soon as possible.

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!
