COMMENT AGAINST FEDERAL
‘BUMP FIRE’ RULE |
Currently, the ATF is accepting public comment on a proposed ‘bump fire’ (or ‘bump stock’) rule.
There have already been indications that any rule of this sort could encompass prohibitions on the “improper” use of simple household items, such as twine or shoestring. Such a rule could even render illegal anything that could make a rifle more accurate, such as a red dot sight. A rule like this would be a perfect tool for bureaucratic overreach and selective enforcement.
We ELECT representatives for a reason, and even then, the Bill of Rights is designed to protect the citizenry even from them. Americans should not be forced to watch as unelected bureaucrats form what amounts to their own extra-constitutional laws, particularly if they will infringe on Natural rights.
GRNC is asking all of its members and supporters to comment AGAINST the implementation of any such ‘bump fire’ rule by the unelected and unaccountable government workers in the federal bureaucracy. (To comment, see link below).
For more details and various arguments against the proposed rule, there is a comprehensive article about it, by David Codrea, at Ammoland.com. To read it, click here,
