- PHONE AND EMAIL YOUR REPUBLICAN US HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE: If your House rep. is a Republican, remind them that no uncertain terms that HR 1236 (red flag) is Unacceptable. Insist that he or she oppose this bill, and by doing so, vigorously defend the Natural rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Tell him or her that nothing short of unwavering resistance to this leftist gun confiscation bill will be acceptable.

Dear Representative:
I’m writing today to voice my opposition to H. R. 1236. So-called ‘red flag’ laws are simply gun confiscation orders hiding behind the Orwellian guise, “Extreme Risk Protection Orders”. Essentially, these unconstitutional laws are designed to seize an innocent citizen’s lawfully possessed firearms without proper due process. This is wholly unacceptable.
It is unacceptable that Congress would even consider this unconstitutional creations that violate a large swath of the Bill of Rights. These violations begin with a gross infringement of the 2nd (keep and bear arms), 4th (illegal seizure of effects), 5th and 6th (due process) Not to mention the chilling effect on the 1st amendment and free-speech.
As a voter and a gun owner, I expect you to oppose these unconstitutional abominations and I expect you to live up to your oath of office, the Republican Party’s platform and the Second Amendment.
