GRNC Alert 4/12/22: No to Biden’s ‘AFT’ nominee Dettelbach

In case you missed it, Joe Biden is restarting his personal little war against your common-sense civil rights. Never satisfied with just tossing off a few demented lines (in more ways than one), he is going after just one of your natural and constitutionally guaranteed rights. He wants to restrict your freedoms by going around congress and the constitution and have what Biden repeatedly called the ‘AFT’ make up its own rules, isn’t that nice?

It’s almost like he listened to the Bloomberg mouthpiece from a few days ago who said ‘To Save Democracy, We Need a Few Good Dictators’.  People who want dementia Joe to just rule by executive order and forget about those pesky old founding documents that limit what he and his cronies can do. Remember, these are the people who only pretend to be liberal and care about liberty.

Worse, Ban ‘em Biden wants to try once again to appoint a liberty grabber leftist to head the ‘AFT’.  He wants to take away your rights, but can’t even take the time to learn and remember the acronym for the government agency that is going to do it. 

So, he’s going with the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.  A man who’s a darling of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Mom’s looking for action in Everytown.

Dettelbach is a Democrat, who ran unsuccessfully for Ohio Attorney General in 2018, losing to Republican Dave Yost. Dettelbach was endorsed by Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Everytown for Gun Safety.  During his campaign for AG, Dettelbach called for reinstating the failed “assault weapon” ban and for universal background checks.

In the gaslighting division, he’s even worse than Biden’s first choice. In his introduction when referring to the ATF he flat out stated that “they don’t write the laws” on the very day that they were writing laws. Go figure. 

Everyone needs to let our constitutional representatives know that he and Biden’s unconstitutional overreach is unacceptable.

Dear Senator:

In blaming gun owners for the result of failed policies and repeating old lies, Joe Biden’s unconstitutional overreach is unacceptable.  At a time when he is opening up the border to an illegal invasion and refusing to clamp down on crime, he is choosing instead to punish innocent taxpayers.

I reject his liberty grabber nominee for the ATF due to his track record against my common-sense civil rights.  A man who claimed the ATF doesn’t write laws on a day when the AFT was writing laws.  If we can’t trust a man on a basic matter such as this, how can we trust the man with the basic issues of our freedoms?

I expect you to reject all of this and will be monitoring this issue through Grass Roots North Carolina legislative alerts.
