GRNC SUING WAKE THE COUNTY SHERIFF

Wake County Sheriff Baker is stripping citizens of their ability to be effectively armed. Pistol Purchase Permit and Concealed Carry Permit applications received after March 25th will not be processed. The process is on hold until April 30th.
Most authorities on armed self defense recommend handguns for this purpose.
Grass Roots North Carolina, in conjunction with the Firearms Policy Coalition and the Second Amendment Foundation, has filed for “a complaint for declaratory, injunctive, and other relief against Wake County Sheriff Gerald Baker for his obstructionism in refusing to issue North Carolina pistol purchase permits and concealed handgun permits during the coronavirus emergency.”

Lawsuits require extensive resources, please help us with as much as you can.
National emergencies are often used by tyrants such as Adolph Hitler to strip away the rights of the citizens, these rights of course are not restored as more emergencies always emerge until the tyrants are over thrown. We don’t need our rights to be kicked to the curb with “Emergency” declarations. Especially in times of actual emergency the response of law enforcement may be fickle or nonexistent.
