Another Democrat Ideologue Nominated For ATFE |
Steve Dettelbach is Biden’s second nominee for director of ATF. The first was shot down in flames after making a complete fool of himself during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings. The new nominee is just as big a threat to our Second Amendment rights as the first nominee David Chipman. The Democrats are going all out to get this anti liberty, gun grabber’s appointment confirmed.
The Democrats are screaming for action now on gun control in the wake of the Buffalo mass shooting. The sicko that did this was posting on line exactly what he was going to do for months and had been held for a mental health evaluation recently. Obviously people in mental health and law enforcement dropped the ball again; just like in the case of the Parkland school shooter. Existing laws could have been used to get this guy off the street.
The current trend of coddling the offender tragically doesn’t work.
The current ATF nominee lights up all the usual gun banner rhetoric and is well connected in the current Democrat hierarchy.
Dettelbach was the U.S. Attorney for the North District, Ohio, Obama nominated him. He is currently practicing corporate law. In his unsuccessful 2018 run for Ohio Attorney General he voiced support for universal background checks, red flag laws with no due process of the accused, and of course “Assault Weapon Bans”. He has since written articles supporting defunding the police.
A perfect fit for this job. If appointed Dettelbach would do his best to remove firearms from the hands of honest citizens who want to defend themselves against exploding violent crime. He would also take the police protectors off the streets, turning these over to gangs, sexual predators and every flavor of criminal. Home invasion? No problem social workers will be on their way sometime soon.
