Fully 25 states have now adopted some form of permitless or “constitutional” carry of firearms. I urge you to use your leadership to bring North Carolina into a 21st century in which both legislatures and courts now recognize the individual right to keep and bear arms guaranteed by the Second Amendment. I strongly urge you to give HB 189, “NC Constitutional Carry Act,” a prompt committee hearing and floor vote. I will be monitoring this issue through Grass Roots North Carolina legislative alerts.
