Celebrate GRNC’s (and Your) Latest Accomplishment

GRNC-PVF

Thanks to your efforts, beginning today churches which sponsor schools will be able to protect parishioners. Until GRNC shepherded passage of Senate Bill 49 last spring, carrying a firearm in a church which sponsored a school was a Class H felony. Beginning today, concealed handgun permit-holders may carry in such churches, provided the property is not owned by a school system and provided school curricular or extracurricular activities are not in session. The measure was part of GRNC’s long-sought repeal of our Jim Crow-era pistol purchase permit system. Please help GRNC continue its long history of success by contributing to the GRNC Political Victory Fund as described below. With your help, in 2024 we will elect more candidates who will support your rights.

Win State-of-Art Carry Gun & Elect Pro-Gun Candidates

It’s election season again (God help us), and GRNC is getting ready to continue its long history of kicking tail by electing pro-2A candidates to the presidency (if such can be found), Congress, the Governor’s (and Lt. Governor’s) races, the NC Council of State, the NC Supreme Court, and the NC General Assembly.

By law, GRNC is restricted in using membership funds to impact elections, which is why we created the GRNC Political Victory Fund, our federally registered political action committee. But that also means that by law, we have to raise money for GRNC-PVF separately from membership funds.

But rather than boring old raffles, we like to spice things up a bit by dedicating our raffles to notable figures. In 2016, for example, we ran the “Hillary Clinton Special,” which sold thousands of tickets … and got us a friendly visit from the Secret Service. (They got the joke, perhaps because Hillary was never very popular with the Secret Service.)

Introducing

The ‘Antifa / BLM Special’

Once again, we are dedicating our raffle to “The Gun Salesmen of the Decade,” namely, those fine “mostly peaceful protestors” at Antifa and Black Lives Matter. And what more appropriate ‘Everyday Carry” (EDC) gun could one have for one of those “mostly peaceful protests” than something with lots of capacity, just in case those “mostly peaceful protests” devolve into looting, arson, and murder (not that such things would ever happen).

Hence, we are offering the latest in high-tech compact firearms, the Sig P365-XMacro Comp. This sweet little EDC is micro in size, but macro in capacity, holding a generous 17 rounds of 9mm goodness, all thanks to the generosity of Hyatt Guns in Charlotte.

(Oh, yes: Did I forget to mention that it was a lawsuit by GRNC and SAF which struck down NC’s “state-of-emergency” gun ban, enabling you to legally carry if one of those “mostly peaceful protests” comes to a city near you?)

How to win the P365 and elect pro-2A candidates

In the interest of fighting “BidenFlation,” we are keeping ticket prices to a very reasonable $10 ea., 3/$25, 7/$50 or 15/$100. You can get tickets by going to GRNC’s home page, or by going directly to grnc.org/PVF-raffle

Unlike other organizations, the GRNC Political Victory Fund doesn’t just throw money at a few candidates and call it a day. Instead, we do “independent expenditures” for or against candidates comprising tens of thousands of postcard election alerts, radio spots, emails, automated phone and text alerts, and even sophisticated “geofencing” to deliver election alerts to mobile devices.

With your help, we will once again dominate the election landscape as we did in 2022, which allowed us to repeal NC’s Jim Crow-era pistol purchase permit law. Once again, please go to: grnc.org/PVF-raffle
