Your time is valuable, so I will make this brief. I recently got an unpleasant surprise. 

I believed the our political action committee, the GRNC Political Victory Fund, had raised enough money to cover mailings of General Assembly districts – essential to winning the General Assembly supermajority needed to overcome Governor Roy Cooper’s many vetoes. I was wrong.

Instead, in analyzing legislative races I discovered that redistricting has created a record number of open seats and competitive races – far more than we’ve had to mail in past years – meaning that mailing costs for GRNC-PVF will be higher than ever before. Worse, Joe Biden’s inflation has increased prices for postage, labor, and even paper.

We have an opportunity…if we can take advantage of it

I thank you for responding to my last letter by contributing to our super PAC to finance the high-tech methods we are for the first time using to send Rep. Ted Budd to the U.S. Senate.

Now, however, I am forced to ask you once again to help GRNC-PVF win a supermajority in the state legislature. As you may recall, GRNC is limited by law from using membership funds to impact elections, forcing us to do separate fundraising for our political action committee.

Only with a supermajority can we repeal our Jim Crow-era pistol purchase permit law, to pass constitutional carry, or to pass others of our legislative objectives because Roy Cooper will veto them.
