Our friends at GOA agree that There is ONE reason why Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer have not been able to totally destroy the Second Amendment. That reason is the Senate filibuster.

Without the filibuster, they would have one party rule and they would be destroying your common-sense civil right of self-defense.

Anti-liberty leftists love to lie with language, their ‘Freedom to Vote Act’ and the ‘Voting Rights Advancement Act’ will do the opposite.  They want to make it easy to cheat and render your vote worthless.  Destroying your rights and your right to vote.

They are also lying when they pretend to care about ‘gun safety’ or their latest buzzword ‘gun violence’. These are the same people ‘defunding the police’ and putting your family in danger.  

You can kiss your rights and your guns goodbye if Senator Schumer gets his way.  Controlling your private property with Universal Gun Registration will just be the warm up act.  

Then it will be a ban on semi-automatic firearms. Ending up with Unconstitutional ‘red flag’ Gun Confiscation orders and storage requirements, so they know your guns will all be in one place when the SWAT team breaks down your front door at 3:00 AM.

It’s vitally important that you contact your Senator to remind those who may be wavering that they work for the people, not Schumer and Pelosi.  It’s also important that you remind those that are standing strong for liberty and individual rights that they are heroes.

Remind them of the words of Senator Schumer:

 "On important issues, the Founding Fathers wanted—and they were correct in my judgment—that the slimmest majority should not always govern."

Dear Senator:

This is to remind you of the immortal words of Senator Chuck Schumer who stated in 2005 that eliminating the Filibuster would be ‘Doomsday for Democracy’.  Aside from the fact that we are in reality a Constitutional Republic, he was correct at that time.

Weakening or eliminating the filibuster would be more than what was prophesized by Schumer. Anti-liberty leftists will run roughshod over the Bill of Rights and our common-sense civil right of self-defense.

Far worse than that, the authoritarian left would change election law to ensure that they can cheat their way to victory every time.  Under the falsely named ‘Voting Rights Advancement Act’ and the ‘Freedom to Vote Act’ that will destroy the right to vote instead of conserving it.

You will say NO to this attempt by the ‘Democrats’ to put a stranglehold on power. I will be monitoring this issue through Grass Roots North Carolina legislative alerts.

I write to you to express my appreciation for your efforts in standing strong against the wishes of the mob that wants to run roughshod over our Constitutional Republic and our basic civil liberties.  You are heroes in standing against those who only crave power over the people.  Authoritarians who lack basic principles of fairness.

Even Senator Chuck Schumer was correct once in asserting in 2005 that eliminating the Filibuster would be ‘Doomsday for Democracy’.  He has totally reversed his principles now because he simply craves power over anything and everyone.
